  NOTABLE FEATURES.   Hisui's eye are the tell-tell sign of their actual birthright of one of the 8 Oronir clans of the Azim Steppe.
They always wear their favourite earring, gifted to them by their partner Oboro.
In reality, it does take Hisui time to truly open up to people due to their childhood in Kugane and personal experiences with their mother growing up. They often struggle with this internally as they are meeting people for the first time, making sure they don't mess up or look foolish. After a while they open up as a very warm and kind hearted person.

  PERSONALITY.   Hisui's is a paradox, a walking contradiction wrapped in an irresistible package. Their bright personality acts like a beacon, drawing people in regardless of the situation. Whether they're navigating the complexities of their job or simply existing in a social setting, their presence is magnetic.
Their adventurous streak is both a blessing and a curse. They crave new experiences and aren't afraid to take risks. While this often leads to exciting opportunities and personal growth, it also has a tendency to land them in trouble. Their impulsiveness, while endearing, can sometimes cloud their judgment.
Beneath the surface, Hisui possesses a thoughtful and philosophical mind. However, they rarely reveal this side of themselves, preferring to engage with the world on a more practical level.

  BACKGROUND.   Hisui was born in Doma during the Garlean occupation, a circumstance their father deeply regretted. His birthplace was the Steppes, and he was next in line for the Oronir throne. His family was one of eight tribes vying for the throne, but he renounced his claim after falling in love with a geisha in Kugane. They wanted a peaceful life for their first child. However, by the time Hisui was born, their parents' love had faded, and their home was on the brink of becoming a Garlean port. This was a move that many locals opposed due to the already challenging living conditions.
Much of their food and resources were being shipped back to Garlemald, leaving the people in hardship. Many affluent families began to secretly leave, fearing they would soon have nothing left. Hisui's family was also preparing to leave when a revolt broke out. Hisui's earliest memories are of people sacrificing their lives to regain control of their home. Despite their efforts, Garlemald turned their magitek cannons on the town, setting it ablaze. Hisui was only five when they watched their home burn to the ground.The family relocated to Kugane at the behest of Hisui's grandfather, the renowned Jirou Hattori of the Hattori clan and samurai school. He was a master of Ninjutsu, swordsmanship, and geomancy. By the age of eight, Hisui was already proficient in the skills taught by their grandfather. Life seemed to be improving until many years later.A few weeks came and went after long discussions and a secret collaboration between Kugane's bakufu and the Doman government, it was decided to strike while Garlemald was embroiled in a civil war for the throne. Hisui's father and brother were part of the plan. Despite the risks, they urged their father to let them join the group, but the thought of them heading into battle was unthinkable. The plan was a dangerous gamble, and when word got out, it resulted in a loss of life on both sides, costing Doma any remaining semblance of "freedom". Kugane remained unscathed, which angered many who knew of the plan and blamed the Domans for putting their people in harm's way.Hisui's echo revealed that their father had done this so that his child could have a future, regardless of the cost. They saw the man who ended not only their family's life but so many others. His name was Zenos yae Galvus that they will soon learn to know in their travels. With this knowledge, Hisui prepared to journey to Eorzea to become an adventurer, training for the day they would confront Zenos and end the occupation in Doma, even if it cost them their life. Little did Hisui know, this fate was already being set in motion.Two weeks after the attack, Hisui felt a presence calling to them, stronger and more insistent than
before. With her grandfather's blessings, they set out to Eorzea.

  1. Diligent Worker: Hisui approaches their assignments with unwavering dedication. They believe in giving their all, a trait that often earns them respect and admiration.

  2. Geomancy / Astrologian: Coming from a long line of Geomancers, Hisui can make use of the elements around them to win the tides of battle. Using the four major elements and the key star points, Hisui can create traps, use the elements at will, conjure spirits and use healing spells.

  3. Archon: Quietly Hisui is earning their Archon mark just like her grandfather before them in Geomancy. After meeting Leveva Byrde during their time in Ishgard and helping Kyokuho seal an evil spirit in Kugane, Hisui propose this study to the Forum with the backing of their grandfather and Montichaigne they are able to finish what their grandfather started so long ago.

  1. The leader: When Hisui was named the leader of the Scions. It was met with trepidation as they feared they could never lived up to Louisoix and Minfilia's exceptions. They quickly found themselves a natural in the leadership role as well diplomacy, finding new way to solve hard hitting problems, and being able to rouse those around them to action, a trait they soon found align during their time an Azem so long ago.
